One thing to clear up first, because it confuses European buyers constantly. Visionbody is a German company and the suit is manufactured in Germany, so people go hunting for an EU storefront. The old German domain, vision-body.com, now redirects permanently to visionbody.com. There's one global store and no regional shop.

Everything is priced in US dollars. Visionbody doesn't publish local currency pricing, so your bank handles the conversion. Rough conversions at late July 2026 rates, so you know the ballpark:

Treat those as approximate. Rates move daily and what your card charges will differ. Two things push it higher: your card's conversion rate is usually worse than the mid-market rate you see on Google, and many cards add a foreign transaction fee, often in the 2 to 3 percent range.
Shipping is separate and Visionbody doesn't publish it. Rates depend on weight, size, destination and the method you pick, and appear at checkout. The homepage advertises free shipping, but that sits on the US-facing storefront, so don't assume it survives the trip to Sydney or Stockholm. Customs, duties and VAT
This is what catches people out, so read it before you order rather than after the courier knocks. Visionbody's shipping policy is blunt: any additional charges for customs clearance are the responsibility of the recipient. Visionbody bills you for the product and the shipping. Your own government bills you separately for bringing the goods in, and the courier normally collects that before handing over the box.
What you owe splits into pieces, and only one of them is the tax itself.
- Import VAT or sales tax. UK and EU buyers should expect import VAT at their own country's standard rate on the value of the goods, and often on the shipping too. Canadian buyers face GST plus any provincial tax, Australian buyers GST. Rates and the thresholds where they start applying differ by country and change over time, so check your national customs authority instead of trusting a number on a blog.
- Customs duty. A separate charge from VAT, depending on how the product gets classified in the tariff schedule and where it's deemed to originate. Genuinely hard to predict from outside.
- The courier's handling fee. DHL, FedEx, UPS and national postal services all charge a clearance or brokerage fee for fronting the tax and doing the paperwork. Small next to the tax, and almost everyone forgets it exists.
There's a wrinkle worth raising with support if you're in Europe. The suit is manufactured in Germany, but Visionbody holds inventory in Miami, so a German-built product can reach a German or British buyer as an import from the United States. Whether an EU order can ship from European stock instead is a fair question, and the answer could move your landed cost meaningfully.
Budget a buffer above the checkout total, and keep the commercial invoice attached to the box for any later return or warranty claim.
Will it work with my plug and voltage?
Yes, everywhere. The PowerBox runs on a rechargeable LP-E10 battery that charges over USB-C, so there's no mains-powered base station and nothing in the system cares whether your socket delivers 110 volts or 230.
USB-C means any charger you already own does the job, including your phone's. If a wall plug ships in the box it'll be the US type, so use a cheap traveller adapter or ignore it and plug the cable into your own charger. No step-down converter and no separate regional model to hunt down.
Warranty and support if you are not in the US
The headline is a 3 year limited warranty on the PowerBox, where the expensive electronics sit. Visionbody's published terms also cover the suit's electrical elements, electrodes and wiring for six months or 100 wash cycles, and the textiles for 30 days. Registration is mandatory, and an inaccurate registration voids the warranty, so do it the week your suit arrives.
Now the honest part. Visionbody doesn't publish separate international warranty or return terms. The warranty page says a defective component must go to an authorized Visionbody retailer, dealer or representative, and specifically not directly to Visionbody. Outside the US there may not be one near you, and the page doesn't name who that would be in Manchester or Melbourne. The return policy is similarly US-shaped: a 14 day window, a return authorization number you request first, and return shipping at your own cost unless the fault is Visionbody's. Posting a suit back across an ocean inside 14 days is a different proposition from posting it across a state.
So email support before you order. Ask where a warranty claim from your country gets sent, who pays the return leg on a repair, and whether the 14 day window starts at dispatch or delivery. US support is at support-usa@visionbody.com, on US business hours. Get the answers in writing.

Is it worth it outside the US?
The math is the same everywhere. You're swapping a recurring studio bill for a one-time purchase. What changes abroad is that import costs get added to the purchase side, and local studio prices set the payback period.
Trainer-led EMS sessions commonly run in the 30 to 60 range in dollars, euros or pounds, depending on the city and whether you buy singles or a block. At two sessions a week and 45 a session, that's roughly 4,700 a year. Even if shipping and customs add several hundred to a $1,833.30 suit, it clears its cost inside the first year at that pace. European readers have a real advantage over US buyers here. EMS studios are far more common across Germany, Austria, Spain, Italy and the UK than in most of the United States, and chains like Bodystreet run hundreds of locations. Book a few trial sessions first. You'll learn whether you like the sensation and whether you'll stick with 20 minute sessions twice a week, and it teaches you correct intensity, which matters far more with EMS than with weights. At checkout you can pay in full, or take the deposit option, which charges $890 up front and the remaining $1,000 to the same card later. Visionbody says you get a notification before the second charge, and their pages describe the balance as due on delivery in one place and due at shipping in another, so confirm the timing before you order.

How do I get the right size when ordering from another country?
There is no published size chart to work from. Visionbody emails you for measurements after the order goes through and works from those, so the fit step happens by email rather than in a fitting room. Reply quickly with accurate numbers. Processing takes two to three business days, and a slow reply is the usual reason an international order sits waiting to be dispatched.
