Dry electrodes against wet: the difference you feel every session

The FDA found it substantially equivalent to a legally marketed device, which is what clearance means. It is not approval, and not an endorsement of any fitness result. We ran the same search for SQAI and found no 510(k) record under that name. A record could sit under a corporate name we did not search, so we will not tell you SQAI has no clearance. We looked, came up empty, and anyone spending $2,795 should ask SQAI for a number.
Returns: you get 21 days, so use them
Visionbody's return window is 21 days from delivery. Contact support inside it for a Return Authorization number, ship the suit back at your cost unless the fault is Visionbody's, and the refund lands within 14 business days of inspection.
One trap: their financing page says "30-Day Money-Back", but the return policy governs. Diary 21 days, not 30. Inside that window, training two or three times a week, you get six to nine sessions. Enough to judge fit and sensation, not enough to judge training outcomes: the research from Kemmler and von Stengel treats EMS as a supplement to progressive resistance training, not a replacement, with the evidence strongest in beginners and returners. SQAI's return terms we have not verified, so ask for its window, who pays shipping, and whether a fee comes out of the refund.
Warranty, washing and what actually wears out
Visionbody publishes warranty in three tiers, more than most of this category manages. PowerBox: 3 years. PowerSuit functional components, meaning electrodes, wiring and the connection plate: 6 months or 100 wash cycles. Textile: 30 days. Cover runs from ship date, with registration and proof of purchase.
Read 100 washes as a warranty limit, not a lifespan rating. Visionbody asks you to wash after every two to three sessions, so an owner training three times a week passes 100 cycles well inside the product's useful life. Nothing breaks at wash 101; the cover has simply run out.
The washing rules are easy, and one catches people out: do not turn the suit inside out to wash it. Inside out is a post workout air drying step only. Wash cold on a gentle cycle at 800 rpm, in the supplied laundry bag with all Velcro fastened, mild bleach free detergent. No hand washing, dry cleaning, tumble drying, ironing, wringing, fabric softener, bleach, sports detergent or direct sunlight. Dry flat, and never wash the control box with the suit. The PowerBox takes a removable LP-E10, the cell entry level Canon cameras use, so a flat battery never means a sealed unit.

Before you train: who whole body EMS is not for
General information, not medical advice. Whole body EMS is for adults 18 and over, and should be avoided with a pacemaker or implanted electronic device, in pregnancy, with epilepsy, serious heart conditions, active cancer, fever, or open wounds and acute injury over the electrode areas.
